The Rolodex was invented in 1956 by Danish engineer Hildaur Neilsen. The Rolodex was widely used in its many iterations until the 1990s. They can still be spotted sitting on desks or propped on file cabinets full of most likely useless contact information, reminders of a different time. 


I imagine these three as sentinels, passing along clues and tidbits of information as new women sat behind the desks they sat on.
